Stay Local for Spring Break

Rather than getting on a plane and flying away for spring break, consider hopping in the car and staying local! Our town may not have beaches, but it’s loaded with family fun activities, parks and outdoor recreation, scenic views, delicious restaurants and plenty of places to grab a pina colada or cold beverage. Plus, you can spend more time making memories with your family than stressing about crowds and all the headaches of traveling, while also finding great rates at stellar hotels!

Check out awesome exhibits at the St. Charles History Museum! Make sure to check their hours and availability for tours.

Also check out activities around town as there’s always something going on. The St. Charles Park District is always holding fun activities or check out the St. Charles History Museum for fun, interesting St. Charles knowledge.

Don’t forget some of our local attractions that are always fun to visit: catch some rays and head outside for an adventure at Norris Woods Forest Preserve for unrivaled views of the river or head over to Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve or the Great Western Trail for a picnic and walk in the woods! For an activity everyone can enjoy, head over to St. Charles Bowl for some fun bowling at this awesome bowling alley.

Rather than trying to solve a board puzzle, challenge yourselves to escaping from an escape room at IPanic Escape Room! Their challenges are designed for kids 14+ but they do allow under ages under 10 with a private experience.

All Things Art Studio is a great place for a fun family activity! Make memories while making something to take home from your trip.
